Elmsdale, Ontario. This is a gem that is easily reached from the parking lot, accessible to photographers and nature lovers of all mobility levels. Despite its accessibility, Brook's Falls possesses a wild beauty that feels removed from the everyday.
I used a six stop ND filter which enabled me to take a long exposure and smooth out the water. The result transforms the rushing water into something silky.
What I appreciate most about Brook's Falls is its proportion. Large enough to impress but intimate enough to feel personal. Standing before it, you can take in the entire scene without craning upward or stepping back.
I expect it will be spectacular in the fall. Worth the time for a visit.
