Lake of Bays, Ontario. In the soft morning light, a maple branch over the Oxtongue River rapids seemed almost to leap into focus, its red leaves striking against the flowing water.
This single branch, reaching out over the flowing water, embodies everything that draws photographers and nature lovers to Ontario during the fall colour season.
