On this morning, I arrived at the course before first light to find a low-hanging mist blanketing the fairways. My heart started racing — I knew I had perhaps thirty minutes before the rising sun would burn it away.
Shooting in mist presents technical challenges. The moisture affects exposure readings, often fooling the camera's meter into underexposure. The soft, diffused light eliminated harsh shadows, creating an almost painterly quality.
