Muskoka, Ontario. The Oxtongue River rapids provide spectacular scenery in the fall. One particular stretch where, in peak autumn, rapids and overhanging maples create a spectacle of colour and motion.
The water ran fast over granite, white foam and dark current providing contrast to the intense reds of the maple leaves above. The patches of colour seemed to float over the rapids, their reflection broken into fragments by moving water. Nature at its most extravagant.
