Solo Ridge

Death Valley, California. Beauty is nothing without someone to share it. On our dawn walk across the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, the sand was very soft and the ridge fell away steeply on both sides. The dunes felt vast but not as vast as the mountains and sky.
